Show notes
After 8 years, LOW is finally here. A story about the weight of being and the wreckage of waking up. Five episodes. Five descents. LOW is an audio journey into the unlit corners of human experience. Choices we made in the dark, the silences we carry, and what remains when we stop running from ourselves.

0:00Hey, it's Jack, host of the show, and I have big news. I have finally published a new podcast. It's called Low, and I really, really, really, really want you to listen to it. I'm going to publish it for everyone for free in a month or two, but my supporters mean so much to me that I'm letting them get early access to it. I want to thank my supporters by letting them be the first to listen.
0:30And oh my God, is this thing getting reactions. I am floored by the feedback Low is getting. People are telling me it's the best story they've ever heard. Okay, here's the pitch for Low. This guy, Zachariah, told me a story about his life, which is by far the most insane story I've ever heard. Like, legit, I was stunned every single time I would talk with him on the phone. I had a really hard time processing his story. He is wild and untamed. It's dark and brutal. He's so different than anyone else I've ever met.
1:00And the stuff he was telling me that he was doing was making me worried for him. But I was glued to his story, and we had call after call to hear it. I've never interviewed anyone as much as I did with him because I just wanted to go over every single detail. And I think I talked with him on the phone for, like, dozens of hours over the course of a year. And the whole time, I was trying to make sense of his story so I could turn it into an episode. But then suddenly, he went silent. And I waited weeks and then months trying to get any sort of response from him, but nothing.
1:31He went totally dark. And then years passed without any contact with him. Something happened to him in the middle of our calls. He vanished. And it's now been eight years since I've heard from him. And in that time, I've tried to make sense of his story. And I would flop back and forth between, man, I can never publish this, to I absolutely need to publish this. But even when I would dedicate time to work on this story, it still took me years to finish because it's just so heavy and deep
2:03that I could only work on it when I was in the right mood. And I think I actually finished making this whole podcast like a year ago, but I didn't want to rush it. And so I spent the last year just fine-tuning it. I've never worked on any story this hard in my life. And that's why I'm so excited to share it with you. It's finally here, and it's ready for you to listen to it right now. But like I said, only premium supporters get to listen to it now because they're the ones who carry this show, and they mean so much to me. If you want to listen to Lowe early, you can become a premium supporter
2:34by going to darknetdiaries.com slash plus and tell me what you think. This is Lowe.
